2004 KUTUMBA:
EVERGREEN NEPALI FOLK TUNES
Kutumba album was realeased on date 2004,
the album was entirely a collection of Nepali
evergreenFolk Tunes.The songs in the album soon
got into the ears and hand of the people. It is
still one of the best album sales in the instrumental
section of Nepali Music.
2005 FOLK ROOTS
After the immence success of 1st album the
band released the second album in 2005, this
album is too band’s effort to revive the evergreen
Nepali Folk Tunes in the nepali music scene.
2007 NAULO BIHANI
Released on 2007, this album is a mix of both
evergreen Nepali Folk Tunes as well as few of
Kutumba’s original too. The originals from the
album was accepted by the general public and
was played in most of the media houses.
2009 MITHILA
Released on 2009, this album was the dedication
to the Maithili Music (a musically rich community
from the plains of Nepal). The band a intensive
research on the music there and also as a
contribution the album was released.
2012 USARGA
Released in 2012,This album is entirely
band originals. All the songs we based on
the Nepali folk roots as well as the
influence of different genre of music.
2013 KARMATH
Realeased 2014, This is album is also band original.
This album is the outcome of the collaborative effort
of the band, experimentation through different genre
music and the artists around the globe.
2017 HIMALAYAN HIGHLANDS
Released 2017
Himalayan Highlands is the outcome of the band’s
journey to the Highlands of the Scotland. The
cross cultural inbound of the folk music from different
country. The geographic distribution of the Highlands
of Scotland and the hills of Nepal were very similar.
